This service gives you a much freer involvement in your vegan costume*. You will be able to choose the type of (vegan) fabrics, hardware, trimmings, colours etc. Don't worry, I will keep you informed and updated throughout the whole design and construction process. Below is an outline of the bespoke process, but please email me for more information.

Stage 02 |
A formal consultation will take place where we will get to know each other and discuss your ideas. A deposit (half of estimated total) will be payable to secure your 'order'. I will take your measurements, if I visit you in person (or via video call) then I will begin the design process.
|
You will need to provide me with visual research ideas or notes to aid me in the design process. When you are happy with the final design, we will discuss your choice of fabrics and findings (documented on a specification form). Then I will be able to give you an exact quote.

Stage 03 |
Stage 04 |
There will be at least two fittings during this process but it may be more depending on the complexity of the design. The first fitting will be a toile, you will have the opportunity to change any details at this point. A second fitting will depend on the first.
|
When your outfit is complete, the final total payment will be due prior to collection, at the time of collection or by arranged delivery. We will both sign a final document to ensure the contract has been met and you are happy with your outfit!

*Please be aware that my speciality is historically influenced costume and not wholly modern silhouette. This means that I will use similar historical silhouettes and supports in your outfit such as crinolines, bustles, pocket hoops and bum rolls to achieve the relevant shape. I am keen on using multiple eras in one costume, either for design or fitting purposes.
